Fascinated by miniatures since she was a child, for years the artist has created entire worlds in tiny dimensions, often set on supports such as hair, furniture or the backs of whales and animals. From small characters or miniature objects, up to entire imaginary scenarios, Flaminia has built its own microcosm, pulsating with its own life. Dioramas of worlds which, smaller, offer the viewer a dimension parallel to the real one, re-proposing the experience of the imaginary realities that we all experienced while playing as children. For the artist, play is the exercise of the absurd that sews the wound between man and the world and a source of primitive knowledge, belonging to the human from an early age. As children, by playing with inanimate things we give them life, through imagination and memory, creative and imitative ability, we shape the first poetic knowledge in each of us. 

The history of the world is reflected in the small fictitious and yet extremely real world of Flaminia. 

Extremely personal in its nature, the exhibition was intended as the laying bare of Flaminia who in her cosmos of small things sees the archetype of her entire practice, of a vision of art and creative poetics which is hands, effort, dream , play but above all care.
